The Hare & Hounds is a traditional country pub located in Cowfold West Sussex near Horsham. It boasts a characterful public bar area with a real log fire, as well as a more formal Dining area.

We are a Freehouse pub and serve a great range of real local ales & other guest ales.
We also offer delicious home made food which is all locally sourced. Check out our extensive menu of home made dishes with vegetarian and Gluten free options, & desserts on our menu page, snacks are available with sandwiches, hot baguettes etc. We promise you the Best Bacon Butty in Sussex!

Food service times are 12 midday to 2.30pm and 7pm to 9.30pm, Monday to Saturday.  Sunday lunches available 12 midday to 2.30pm.
Good pubs are hard to find and real ale is even harder to find. We are determined to offer our customers authentic ale served by friendly bar staff, coupled with great food, race nights, fortnightly quiz nights, live music, makes it hard to beat.
